The article below explains why wind energy could transform your home!
Homemade Wind Turbine Energy
Renewable energy is now easier and more affordable for the everyday handyman to make than ever before. By building your own homemade wind turbine, you can save thousands of dollars versus buying a new wind turbine kit. The wind turbine energy that is produced by the homemade wind turbine, can save you upwards of 80% off your electricity bill, month after month.
When you buy a wind turbine kit remember you only get one, when you build your own homemade wind turbine you can build as many as you want. The store bought kit will cost you upwards of about $600 – $2000 depending on the amount of wattage you need, but with a homemade wind turbine the items that you need can be found sometimes almost for free.
Sure the store bought kits come all ready to put together and all you have to do is read the not so easy (need a engineer degree) to understand directions, and then you still have to figure out the best place to install it. The great thing about a homemade wind turbine anyone can build it with the right set of plans. The simple process is all laid out for you in a step by step way that anyone could understand, so you don’t need that engineer degree to figure it out.
Because of the high demand for alternative energy solutions, more and more people are turning to homemade wind turbines to help them get away from there traditional energy sources. Wind turbine energy can give you enough power for all of you household needs and maybe more, it all depends on how many homemade wind turbines you feel like building and installing.
Are you using all your home’s comfort completely guilt free, laughing at rising energy prices, while saving the environment? If not now is your chance for free energy, Solar and Wind Energy

Wind Turbine Kits
Having your own wind turbine will by at least half, if not more. Couple it with a sloar energy system and you could remove your electricity bills all together. Earth4Energy is a guide showing you how to construct your own multi-blade wind turbine (usually 5 blades).
Step by step it walks you through in a series of videos the process of pulling together your own wind turbine kits and solar energy system for as little as $200 per system! I really recommend you take a look at Earth4Energy is you seriously want to use renewable energy to reduce your carbon footprint and cut your energy bills.
How to Make Your Own Wind Turbine
You can make your own wind turbine for under $200 in just two days. How? Let’s find out…
Why Make My Own Wind Turbine?
Green energy is becoming more and more popular because it is cheap and efficient. People are willing to spend $20,000 on a professionally installed wind turbine. But why spend this much when you can make your own wind turbine for less than $200? You get all of the same benefits but you get them a whole lot faster. A professionally installed wind turbine will take at least 5 years for it to pay for itself where as a homemade system will pay for itself within a month.
Building A Wind Turbine Doesn’t Sound Too Easy To Me…
It’s true. Building your own natural energy system can be very difficult if you don’t know how to approach it. But given the right tools building your own wind turbine can also be very simple. Believe it or not there are only really 3 necessary tools for building you own natural power system.
1. You
2. A Place To Put Your Wind Energy System
3. A DIY Homemade Green Energy Guide
With these 3 things you can build your own wind turbine with ease. Acquiring “you” shouldn’t be too difficult and finding a place around your house to put your new natural power system should be pretty easy as well. The only tool that might pose a problem is obtaining a reliable DIY green energy guide. To be honest this can be quite a hassle as there are many garbage guides out there just looking for a quick buck.
Going green is cheap and easy. You can save hundreds of dollars on your energy bill every month and even earn some cash with your own wind turbine. What are you waiting for?
Oh yeah, one more thing before you start! If you are puzzled as to where to find a reliable green energy guide…have I got the guide for you! I’ve spent quite some time looking into several available DIY homemade energy guides and only one stood out in terms of value. Just click the link below to get started!

Build Your Own Wind Turbine
Why pay electricty bills, when for a few hundred dollars you could build your own wind turbine and generate electricity to power your home? Most people believe domestic wind turbines are expensive to buy and install, but they don’t have to be!
Read about the advantages of making your own turbine in the article below:
Build Your Own Domestic Wind Turbine
Building your own domestic wind turbine is not as difficult as you may think. However forethought and planning will make all the difference in how effective your turbine wind generators are at providing power.
When looking to build you own wind turbine there are a few things you should consider first.
Your total power requirements – this will determine balde size and number of turbines
How windy is my site – Reduce the initial estimate by 30-50% (we will explain below)
Placement – Do I have good sites on te roof. Will my neighbours or the local council object?
Your Total Power Requirements.
A general rule for calculating how many and what size of domestic wind turbine you require is this. A average modern home consumes around 4,500 kWh. a year. In rough terms a domestic wind turbine with a 2 metre rotor diameter can yield (in good conditions) 500 kWh. per year. Alternatively a domestic wind turbine with a 5 metre rotor diameter can yield closer to 4,500 kWh on a good site. As you see the relationship between rotor diameter and power generation is not linear.
So firstly determine you annual kWh. power needs. From then determine how many and what type of domestic wind turbine you will install. Lastly, determine where will you install them?
How Windy is my site
Many people overestimate the wind speed and quality around their home. This is because the same building, trees and obstacles that make the wind sound like it is howling, are also cutting the force of the wind. This is why we generally lower the estimate on wind speed if the home is in a urban or suburban area. This ensures that we don’t underestimate the number of turbine wind generators we need.
Also look into the different types of turbine wind generator. Research what different types of wind generator will best suit your needs. In terms of building your own domestic wind turbine the key thing is to get a balance between your needs and your skills. It may be easier to build and site more smaller wind generators than a few big 5 metre, or vertical turbine wind generators.
Placement
In simple terms their are two options. On short towers on the roof on buildings. On tall ground towers. The vast majority of domestic wind turbine are placed on the roof, on a tower at a height that ensures the wind’s force is not dampened by the roof structure. They can also of coure be placed on a free standing towers away from any buildings or trees.

The key thing is to determine numbers, size and placement before you begin. In this way little complications like the domestic wind generator being too large for the place you have choosed, or not having enough wind in that spot, can be avioded.
Were to Get Plans for Building a Domestic Wind Turbine
You can find many plans for building turbine wind generators online, however this may not be the perfect solution. Firstly any alternative energy generation plan should have multiple power sources. For this reason you should always at least consider solar to supplement any power, even just installing diy solar water heating will help.

Secondly plans are not experience. You can benefit from others experince if you join an online community, where you can ask questions and share ideas. A plan will not provide this. You can find more information on plans, and a community to share you learning and domestic wind turbine building success with here.
